Name: Glenn Armistead Age: Origin: Prontera Job&Build: TK boy str/agi Weapon Type: Bare hands Looks&PB: Yamasaki Susumu from Peacemaker Kurogane Glenn is a tall and lanky young man with long black hair and black eyes. He usually ties his hair back, exactly at the nape of his neck. He styled some of his hair to spike upwards. He switches between his TK attire and casual wear. Anything that gives easy mobility and in darker colors. Background: Glenn's parents landed in the slums when they came to Prontera, unable to strike any luck in the city at all. His mother was pregnant at the time and died during childbirth due to complications and infection. Glenn was taken care of by a distraught father. He grew up learning how to steal and beg for money. His father even went as far as to offer his son up for 'services' when he realized his son could pass for a girl. Twelve years ago, he was caught stealing and was severely beaten. He was found by a priest and was being healed at the church when news of monsters attacking the slums reached them. Glenn never saw his father again. He left the church afterwards and sought a way out of the city. By a stroke of luck, he met a merchant who was willing to let him tag along. Glenn ended up in Payon, zeny-less and homeless. He thought he had to steal to survive again but he picked the wrong victim. Glenn was instantly subdued by the man, who wanted to inform his parents of his behavior. Glenn discovered that the man was a Taekwon master teaching at the local dojo. The man decided that Glenn could do with a good role model, so he took him in and registered him at the dojo. For the next ten years, Glenn learned how to read and write, trained in the arts of Taekwon do and took up a part time job. He gained himself a friend at the dojo when he joined. A boy named Liam, who he later discovered he had feelings for. There were a lot of complications and it nearly cost them their friendship but they settled into a rather discreet relationship, which they tried hard to keep it from being public knowledge. (Though it would not be surprising if there were suspicions.) When Glenn completed his training about two years ago, he was convinced into traveling the world with Liam. They've been wandering the world ever since. Glenn's mentor is suspicious of their relationship but is not pursuing the matter as of yet, as Glenn is denying it. Personality: Glenn is quiet by nature and prefers to remain unseen and unheard. He is hardworking and dedicated to whatever it is he puts his mind to though. He is wary of strangers and it takes a lot to get him to open up to people. He is quite chivalrous when the situation needs him to be and does not hesitate to help those in trouble. He has a soft spot for children and cute animals though he would never admit it (but dammit Liam knows!). He keeps the darker part of his past a secret and has only confided in Liam, who he trusts with his life. Naturally, he also speaks more around Liam. During their travels, Glenn mostly lets Liam do all the talking. He is also a bit awkward in social situations.
